Guys, I am very happy to say that, [with the addition of some buttons] my Chie Satonaka cosplay is complete~
My wonderful friend Dana sewed the cosplay for me, and provided the buttons, and I ordered the wig from somebody on cosplay.com.
I am really excited that this whole thing is finished, so now I can frolic around kicking things, and talking about steak.
WHO IS CHIE SATONAKA, you may be asking yourselves.
Well don't worry, I shall explain.
Chie Satonaka is a character from Shin Megami Tensei's "Persona 4" for the PS2.
[The cover]
Persona 4 is a game that follows a group of highschoolers, as they solve mysteries, and save the world, and [blah blah blah blah]
Basically, if you want the full story, here's the Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persona_4
Anyway, Chie Satonaka is a character that really stood out to me while I was playing. Not only is she really cute, but she is also great at sports, friendly, and quite hilarious, if I do say so myself. She was a unique character, who didn't seem completely clichéd, and over used, and that was refreshing.
I enjoy all cosplay, but I especially enjoy cosplay when I have a lot in common with a character, or I just simply love them. ;;
Chie was one of these characters that I could relate to, and that I loved, so I'm really hoping I'm able to pull her off well.
Now, without further ado, let's check out some pictures.
First is a comparison of the outfit itself, side by side with a picture of the character:
[I tried my best to immitate the pose, but spreading my legs that far in a skirt would've looked really ho'ish I think. ;;]
And my face when I got the buttons in the mail:
[I waaaaaaaaas, pretty excited. ;D]
I'll be debuting this costume at Kumoricon 2011, and hopefully at a meet-up or two before then. As soon as I get better pictures of the costume, I will post them here, for all of you to enjoy.
I encourage everyone to try and get a copy of Persona 4, because it is a truly great game, and I'm sure you will all enjoy it. ;;
Thank you for reading everyone, good night ~

☆☆☆Trying to get in shape☆☆☆
About a week ago, I realized that it's already spring, and summer would be coming in a few more months. At first, my head was filled with thoughts of warm summer days, laying by the pool with a nice cold glass of ice tea, as the sun reflected off of the glimmering ice cubes. Unfortunately, that beautiful thought was quickly interrupted by a sudden feeling of panic, as I realized that summertime, meant swim suit time.
Generally, this wouldn't really matter, because I'm always stuck with one piece bathing suits, or tankinins; not because I am ashamed of my body in any way, but because I always thought they were cuter. Seeing as how I will be 16 this summer, however, my opinions on swim wear have changed quite a bit. This year I think I will definitely be buying a bikini[hopefully one that's pink with frills ;u;], which means that I had to start, at that very moment, my journey to getting in shape.
Keep in mind, this whole inner-monologue took place a week ago, and so I am already pretty comfortable with my dieting and exercise routine, but there are definitely a few things I need to fix.
I've started to really pay attention to what I eat, and try to take in very few sugars and fats. I eat lots of oatmeal, grains, and lean meats like chicken now, along with drinking water constant. Along with my new diet, I have been doing at least one hour of cardio and strength training every day. It's going surprisingly well, other then the occasional craving for something sweet. I swear, little candies and cakes may look adorable, but they must be constantly plotting the extinction of mankind, or else why would they make us gain weight? ;A; [/sobsobsob]
Anyway, as far as progress with my quest to getting in shape goes, I feel like I'm doing pretty good. I didn't start out needing to lose a lot of weight [5'7", 130lbs], but I wouldn't mind dropping 5-10lbs. My main goal is to turn a lot of the excess fat on my body into muscle, so that I won't look flabby in a cute bikini. So far I have lost 3lbs, which is exciting, and is helping to motivate me to lose more.
I'll definitely blog about this more as I get results, and hopefully by summertime, I'll be able to post a picture of me in the cute pink ruffly bikini. ;u; [I wonder if one of those even exists...]
Thanks for reading, and if you have any fitness questions, or want to ask me anything else, feel free to comment.
[Look guys, I found a cute one on google~~~☆☆☆]

☆☆☆Un Petit Lapin☆☆☆
Hello everyone, it's a pleasure to be here.
To be honest with you, I am very new to this little section of the internet. I've done webcasts, I have tons of e-mail accounts, Facebook, Youtube, 4chan, Anime Convention Forums, photo sites; and through it all, it's never occurred to me until now to take up blogging.
Recently I've been becoming more and more interested with making every part of my life count, so that I won't forget important events. With this, I've realized how important it is to be thoughtful of what's happening in other people's lives, and to become more aware of what makes everyone special.
For this purpose, I find blogging to be a perfect outlet.
I can share with all of you what is going on with me, while simultaneously learning about all of you~ (This is starting to sound so cheesy ;3;)
Now, you may be curious as to why this is called "Un Petit Lapin."
I wish I could give you some long dramatic story, about how I have French descendants who once explored on a ship overseas, with the words 'Un Petit Lapin' painted valiantly to the side, in a strong bold font. And before they crashed, the captain of the ship, my great grandfather, used the last bit of his power to yell "someday, someone will write a blog about this ship!!!"
. . . . . . .
Sorry though, my reason is nowhere cool as that.
The real reason why I've decided to name my blog this, is because:
A) I am in my second year of French in Highschool
B) I absolutely adore rabbits
C) It sounded cute
If you wish to go on believing the made up story about my Great Grandfather's ship, I advise you to go right ahead, because if it were me...[I might as well. >u>]
Enough about that though, seeing as how it is 1:31am, and I have important plans in which I need to wake up early for tomorrow, I think I should probably wrap it up, and get to bed.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and know that I will be back again tomorrow, making a post about my fun adventures.
I'd love to read about you as well, so follow me, and I will follow you right back.
Merci, et bonne soir~☆☆☆
